Health

A range of people are needed to contribute to an effective health sector that meets the needs of a diverse population. As an undergraduate, you can choose from Health Informatics, Health Policy and Information, Health Promotion, Health Psychology, Midwifery, and Physical Activity and Hauora.

Most of these subjects are majors for the Bachelor of Health. Health Psychology can also be studied as a major subject for the Bachelor of Psychology.

If you want to be a midwife, our Bachelor of Midwifery is a four-year undergraduate degree that gives you the skills to support the health and wellbeing of new families during and after pregnancy and birth.

Nursing

Our pathway to a career as a registered nurse is via graduate entry—you’ll need to have completed an undergraduate degree (in any subject), then study for a Master of Nursing Practice.
