With the deadline to register for the next HSK tests only a few weeks away (5 November), the Confucius Institute at VUW is organising information sessions every Tuesday from 4.00pm until 6.00pm (except on 30 October) at room 204, 18 Kelburn Parade. Any questions you might have will be answered by Mr Yaru Liu, Chinese Teacher and HSK Coordinator. The HSK are China’s standardised tests to assess candidate’s Chinese language proficiency. These tests are essential for anybody who wishes to continue Chinese Language studies or anyone who is planning on applying for a Confucius Institute scholarship. HSK results can also be included in curricula vitae for job hunters interested in China-related positions.
