Academics and PhD students attended the Eighth Financial Markets and Corporate Governance Conference  and PhD Symposium (FMCG 2017), held at Wellington School of Business and Government, Bunny Street, Wellington, New Zealand from 19–21 April 2017.

FMCG 2017 was hosted by Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington (School of Accounting and Commercial Law, School of Economics and Finance, and Centre for Accounting, Governance and Taxation Research), in conjunction with the Department of Banking and Finance, Monash Business School, Monash University, and La Trobe Business School, La Trobe University.
