About

I am a vocationally registered specialist dermatologist.

I grew up in Germany and first came to New Zealand in 2001, where I did social work in Christchurch prior to my studies.

In 2009, I completed my degree at Ludwig-Maximilians University, Munich. I undertook specialist dermatology training at large tertiary training facilities in Germany. I also trained in subspecialty clinics in allergology, which involved running busy patch test clinics and treating patients suffering from occupational dermatoses.

I have also trained under some of the leading dermatosurgeons in Germany.  In 2014 I was awarded the prestigious Diploma in Aesthetic Laser Medicine by the Ernst Moritz Arndt University of Greifswald.

Following my dermatology training in 2016, I completed subspecialty training in allergology and continued working as a consultant dermatologist at a large dermatology centre in southern Germany. I was also involved in teaching the dermatology registrar there.

I am a general dermatologist with a special interest in eczema, psoriasis, patch test, acne, rosacea and the diagnosis and management of skin cancer. 

I returned to New Zealand in 2016, settling in Wellington. I work as a consultant dermatologist at the Capital and Coast District Health Board and I also run monthly clinics at Victoria's Student Health service.

I am happy to be back in New Zealand again and enjoy all that the capital and the surrounding region has to offer.
