Dr Mondher Sahli was re-elected Secretary-General of the International Association for Tourism Economics in July 2015, with a renewed mandate for two years.
Dr Mondher Sahli was re-elected Secretary-General of the IATE in July 2015, with a renewed mandate for two years. The International Association for Tourism Economics (IATE) is an established organisation in the field of tourism economics, having hosted five international conferences since its inaugural event in Palma de Mallorca in 2007. The most recent conference was held at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (30 June – 3 July 2015). The IATE conferences provide opportunities for researchers, scholars and practitioners from around the globe to exchange ideas on key research issues in the field of tourism economics.
The IATE secretariat has been located at Victoria University of Wellington since January 2010.
