Article of the Year: The Future of Family Tourism
Former Victoria PhD student Dr Heike Schaenzel (Auckland University of Technology) and Associate Professor Ian Yeoman were awarded ‘Article of the Year’ from the publication Tourism Recreation Research earlier this year. The award, judged by the journal’s Editorial Board, recognises the paper ‘The Future of Family Tourism’ for its “Methodology, Practical Usability of Research and Broad Subject Interest”. Using the process of cognitive mapping the authors explored a number of themes including changing family structures, gender and quality assurance.
