How to Make a Mud Pie includes everything from simple damper to elaborate seafood dishes, things you can cook over a fire or a burner and things that need a well-equipped kitchen.

In addition to recipes, the book also has advice for those embarking on quartermastering for big groups and on how to deal with special diets on fieldtrips. It is perfect for geologists, trampers and anyone who has access to a kitchen (or even just an open fire).

The Geological Society are currently taking expressions of interest for purchasing the cookbook to figure out how large a print run is needed—aiming to print early next year, in time for the field season! The book will cost around $25, be spiral bound and tough for use wherever you like to cook—indoors or out.
