The popular CI Chinese Teacher Training Programme returns this year with a more comprehensive 12-session (90 minute per session) interactive workshop series. The workshops will inform Chinese language teachers of effective techniques and methods for the teaching of Chinese language and culture, better enable teachers to construct new and interesting lesson plans and provide an introduction to helpful resources and materials. It will also provide non-native Chinese teachers with the chance to practise their listening and speaking skills.

The sessions are held on Saturdays starting 10 March, and run on an ongoing basis. Participants may start at any time. Upon completion of all twelve workshops and assignments, participants will receive a Chinese Language Teaching Certificate issued by the VUW Confucius Institute.
