Profile

Loan is a PhD student in Economics at Wellington School of Business and Government. She is interested in regulatory economics, digital economics, inclusive economics and behavioural economics. She is currently a recipient of a Wellington Doctoral Scholarship.

Before coming to Victoria University of Wellington, Loan had over ten years of professional experience in policy consultancy, government affairs and project management. Most recently, she acted as a regional advisor on regulatory reforms and led to success different development programmes by the UK and the US in Viet Nam, the Philippines, and wider ASEAN countries.

She also received a full scholarship from London Metropolitan University UK, where she obtained her Master’s Degree in Business Economics with Distinction and as Top Student with highest average graduation mark of the Economics Faculty.
