Profile

Cristhian’s research is focused on measuring the causal effects of natural disasters on socio-economic variables, both in the long and short term, using Micreconometric techniques. Specifically, his research is applied to New Zealand and Colombia.

He taught Macroeconomic theory as a teacher assistant in the Economics school at Xaverian University in Colombia. He graduated in Economics from Xaverian University.

Cristhian was awarded with a PhD Scholarship funded by the Chair in the Economics of Disasters and Climate Change.
