Luis and Clark Cello Award

Information

This Award was established in 2018 by the New Zealand School of Music to assist a gifted cellist studying at the New Zealand School of Music who is in need of an instrument and who shows promise for a professional career in cello. The recipient and cello will be featured annually in a public concert.

The nomination is made during the end of year recital and/or audition.

The award is tenable for a period of one year of study at the New Zealand School of Music, commencing in the year following the award.

Value

$1,000 (subject to available funds) plus the use of an excellent Luis and Clark carbon fibre cello.
