CMPO 201: Instrumental/Vocal composition
Students create a 3–5 minute composition for one of the current performance opportunities.
About the course: Creative application of intermediate concepts in instrumental/vocal composition and/or hybrid composition, particularly as they apply to aesthetic and technical concepts of form/shape, compositional process, and advanced materials. This course is open to composers working in any idiom, including film scoring, commercial music, and jazz.
