Book Launch of 'Serial Crime Fiction: Dying for More'

Jean, Barbara, Carolina Book Launch — On 17 March (pictured left to right) Carolina Miranda, Jean Anderson and Barbara Pezzotti launched their latest edited collection, *Serial Crime Fiction: Dying for More*(Palgrave Macmillan, November 2015).

This volume is the first to focus on the complexities of crime fiction seriality, and contributions cover authors such as Conan Doyle, Dorothy Sayers, Sara Paretsky, David Peace, James Ellroy, Maurice Leblanc, Lisa Marklund, Andrea Camilleri, and Jorge Luis Borges.

It also features work on crime serials in several media: print, film and television. The book has been nominated for the H.R.F. Keating award, for best book (biography or critical work) in crime fiction studies. The winner will be announced at Britain's Crimefest in Bristol in mid May.
