GDipTchg graduate wins teaching resource prize

A recent graduate of our Graduate Diploma of Teaching, Dr Sarah Howell, has won a prestigious prize for creating an excellent teaching resource

Dr Sarah Howell, a recent graduate of the Faculty of Education's Graduate Diploma of Teaching (Secondary), has won a prestigious prize for creating an excellent teaching resource.

Sarah who teaches at Wellington College has won the Ernest Duncan Teaching Award, presented by the New Zealand Association of Mathematics Teachers.

The resource draws on her statistics and science education background.

The resource is publicly available on the NZTA website

This resource is timely and likely to be heavily used around the country as many teachers are seeking data sets and substantial learning activities that are highly relevant and meaningful for their students. The 10th February New Zealand Education Gazette Tukutuku Kōrero have announced the award and provide a weblink to the resource for teachers.
