Inaugural C09 Meeting Hosted by Head of School
The inaugural Co9 (Club of 9 Head of Marketing Departments in NZ) meeting was hosted by Professor Kim Fam from the School of Marketing and International Business, which is situated on the 11th floor of Rutherford House at Pipitea Campas, at Victoria University of Wellington.
The meeting was attended by representatives from :

- Massey University (Albany) Associate Professor Andrew Murphy

- Canterbury University Dr Paul Ballantine
- Lincoln University Dr Kamal Ghose
- Victoria University of Wellington Professor Kim Fam
- UNITEC Associate Professor Robert Davies
Primarily the meeting was aimed to get some good collaboration going between the Universities. Hence a number of issues were discussed at the meeting and they included, staff recruitment; PhD students recruitment; advertising of potential PhD students to other schools; accreditation of marketing courses by the Chartered Institute of Marketing; PBRF and sharing of resources.
This will be a yearly event to be hosted by Kim Fam.
