Personal Bio

PhD Victoria University of Wellington, NZ | BSc (Hons) Oxford Brookes University, UK

An early career researcher and teacher with expertise at the interface of ecology and chemistry. I have interests and strengths in wildlife management, conservation, restoration ecology, metabolomics profiling, including to investigate human disease and the use of advanced multi-variate statistics and information-theoretic approaches to simplify complex problems.

Research Interests

I currently lead a trans-disciplinary and multinational team of researchers and commercial partners focused on bringing long-life, sustained release semiochemical lures for rats to global markets. The lures we are developing will be compatible with multiple current and near-future control and detection technologies. They are essential to growing the scale and intensity of rodent control, especially by future-proofing for the advance to automated control and detection technologies. I am currently employed by Wellington UniVentures and based within the School of Biological Sciences at Victoria University of Wellington.
