Rutherford House is the venue for the CSEAR 2006 conference.
It is an ideal conference venue, with modern lecture theatres, break-out rooms and spacious public areas. Furthermore, it has a superb downtown location at the northern end of Wellington's central business district.
A stone’s throw from New Zealand's Parliament buildings on the one side, and the Railway Station - Wellington's major transport interchange, comprising railway and bus stations - on the other, it is ideally situated.
The shops and lunchtime cafes of Lambton Quay are only a few minutes' walk away, past the beautifully restored former Government Buildings, now home to Victoria University of Wellington's School of Law.
Rutherford House is also no more than 30 minutes away from the airport.
