A piano with your pint?
In an exciting new partnership with Chamber Music New Zealand, NZSM has loaned a piano to the Third Eye - Tuatara's Temple of Taste for 2017.
The piano will be used for Chamber Music New Zealand's Classical Sessions, a monthly music series which presents classical music 'outside of the concert hall'.
The concerts are informal, and present some of Wellington’s finest classical musicians getting together over a pint or two and making music. The events are held from 6 - 7pm on the first Wednesday of each month, and are koha entry. NZSM staff and students will perform as part of the series at the June and October events.
Other groups who are performing at the venue will also be able to use the piano for a small fee.
