Miramar Creative Centre collaborates with Rubber Monkey and Aputure for lighting workshop

Rubber Monkey and Aputure workshop 'Lighting for Filmmakers' at the Miramar Creative Centre brings together creatives.

Rubber Monkey teamed up with Aputure at the Miramar Creative Centre in July for Lighting for Filmmakers: a part demonstrational, part hands-on workshop that explored lighting techniques, theory, and practical skills through the use of tools for budgets big and small.

The workshop brought together a diverse set of creatives at all levels in their careers to provide a new understanding of modern LED lighting technology, its capabilities/limitations, and the skills to flex their own creative muscles or better support those on their crews.

Industry guest speaker, cinematographer Mathew Knight, explored the lighting of narrative filmmaking scenes, and guests were able to try out the newest Aputure fixtures for themselves including the LS 600D Pro, Nova P300C, and B7c 8 light kit.
