Assisting Someone To End Their Life:  For and Against by F. M. Kamm

Several arguments for the moral permissibility of actively assisting someone to end their life will be presented. Consideration will be given to whether they can be the basis for sound law and public policy. Objections to the arguments will also be considered.

Frances Myrna Kamm is the Littauer Professor of Philosophy and Public Policy in the Kennedy School of Government, as well as Professor of Philosophy in the Faculty of Arts & Sciences at Harvard University.
