Professor Jeff Tatum Attends Annual Edmund G. Berry Lecture
On February 3rd Jeff Tatum delivered the 31st annual Edmund G. Berry Lecture at the University of Manitoba. The Berry Lectureship brings to Winnipeg at distinguished classicist who addresses the university community on a topic that intersects a selection of intellectual interests in the humanities. Recent Berry lecturers have included Cliff Ando (Chicago), John Bodel (Brown), and Kathleen Coleman (Harvard).
Jeff addressed an enthusiastic audience of approximately 150, assembled in St Johns College, on the topic: I am Antony Yet: Reading Mark Antony’s Mail. He was less successful, however, in rousing other denizens of Winnipeg.
