The international committees responsible for drafting key standards for records and library communities held their annual meetings in Wellington in May.

An exciting and momentous event took place in Wellington from 9th-14th May.  The international committees responsible for drafting key standards for records and library communities held their annual meetings in Wellington.  The event attracted over one hundred delegates from Europe, Asia, North America and Australia.  This meeting was particularly significant for the records community, as the revised and updated standard on records management (ISO15489) was launched on 10th May.

SIM students provided the support to make sure everything ran smoothly.  With meetings held at MBIE, the National Library, Archives New Zealand and the Department of Internal Affairs good coordination was essential.
