Dr Nicola Hyland receives Staff Excellence Award

Dr Nicola Hyland promotes inclusivity in her Theatre research, teaching, and engagement. Her research highlights intersections between performance and cultural representation, showcasing the vital and vibrant work of indigenous creatives. Nicola applies ‘Indigenous means’ to teach ‘Indigenous scenes’, adapting a tikanga Māori approach to performance methodologies in directing theatre productions.
