Professor Pat Walsh welcomes new professors to Victoria
A new professor‘s welcome was held last week to congratulate the academics who have recently attained a professorship.
"Professors not only supervise postgraduate students, but also act as mentors to junior academic staff and assist in creating a community of scholars, among other responsibilities - and I congratulate our new professors on their promotions to this important role," Vice-Chancellor Professor Pat Walsh says.
