The Financial Markets and Corporate Governance Conference (FMCG 2017) welcomes papers related to all aspects of Corporate Governance, Financial Reporting, Capital Markets, Market Microstructure, Corporate Finance, Investments and Funds Management, Emerging Markets, and related areas.

The theme for FMCG 2017 is Information and Capital Markets, and you are invited to submit papers for presentation at either the conference (20-21 April 2017 at Victoria Business School, Rutherford House, 23 Lambton Quay, Wellington) or the PhD symposium (19 April 2017 at Victoria Business School, Rutherford House, 23 Lambton Quay, Wellington).

Two versions of each paper, in pdf format, must be submitted. One version must note all authors' information, and the second must be free of any author information.

Submit your paper via SSRN here.

When submitting your paper you may select an option for your paper to only be available privately, which enables only the conference coordinators/members of the program committee and SSRN staff to access your submission during the review and selection period.

Papers submitted as privately available will not be distributed as conference proceedings after the conference.

The deadline for all submissions is 22 January 2017.

PhD symposium papers

The conference will be preceded by a PhD symposium on Wednesday, 19 April 2017.

The symposium will provide PhD students with the opportunity to present their proposal or a working paper and receive expert feedback on their academic work. Students may submit working papers in the same subject areas as covered by the conference.

Presentations will be selected on the basis of an abstract of the proposal or paper.

Submit your abstract, via email, by 22 January 2017 to the PhD Symposium Administrator.
