Saxophonist Eilish Wilson is excited to present a few original songs as well as a few borrowed tunes together with long time friends Callum Allardice (guitar), Scott Maynard (double bass), and Olivia Campion (drums).

First debuted in the Wellington Jazz Festival 2020, these compositions and tunes express ideas of community and connection.

Eilish grew up in Nelson and moved to Wellington in 2012 to study at the NZSM, which is where she began her career as a professional musician. Eilish performs in a variety of bands and collectives, including the Rodger Fox Big Band, Newtown Rocksteady, The Wellington Mingus Ensemble, Raw Collective, Dr. Reknaw, and Fun ⅋ Funner. With the Rodger Fox Big Band, she has played at the Monterey Jazz Festival and the JEN Conference in New Orleans, and has recorded numerous albums both in New Zealand and in the USA. More recently, Eilish has been touring as part of the extended band for Trinity Roots. Eilish teaches privately and as an Artist Teacher at the NZSM. She has adjudicated festivals including the Manawatu Jazz Festival, the NZSM Jazz Project, and the Tauranga Jazz Festival.
