Maddy Judd receives Te Tini o Rehua Award
Congratulations to Maddy Judd, a recipient of the Te Tini a Rehua award.
“Kia mau te wehi ki a koutou,” says Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Māori) Professor Rawinia Higgins, as Maddy Judd (Ngāpuhi), receives Te Kauhanganui Tātai Ture—The Faculty of Law Te Tini a Rehua award for the top Māori undergraduate.
"You have to keep persisting but also know your own value, and focus on what you want to achieve and what you want to get out of your degree. That doesn't necessarily have to be getting this grade, or achieving that thing. Everyone is different. If you can make it through the degree, that's a massive achievement in itself." says Maddy.
