Their Honours do the honours
The Law Students’ Society (LSS) has just unveiled its “George Barton QC Law Competition Winners” honours board.
The late George Barton QC was a former Professor at the Faculty, noted practitioner and “father” of the legal profession in Wellington.
Judges who are alumni of the Faculty donated the honours board to the LSS in his memory.
Present at the unveiling event were (pictured below) Mrs Ailsa Barton, Hon Justice Mark O’Regan, LSS President Myles Snaddon and Dean of Law, Professor Tony Smith.
