New book makes important contribution to the study of vocabulary
Senior Lecturer at the School of Linguistics and Applied Language Studies Dr Averil Coxhead has published a new book, Vocabulary and English for Specific Purposes Research: Quantitative and Qualitative Perspectives.
Focussing on quantitative and qualitative approaches, the book draws on a wide range of literature to explore issues such as how to identify and categorise specialised vocabulary and the role and value of word list research in English for Academic Purposes and English for Specific Purposes.
The book is part of a series published by Routledge of monograph studies showcasing cutting-edge research in the field of English for Specific Purposes.
