Victoria University of Wellington warmly invites you to a special event celebrating the groundbreaking web series and film, Rūrangi, which tackles issues related to transgender identity and activism from a perspective firmly rooted in Aotearoa NZ.

This free event is open to the public. It will include a screening of Rūrangi followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers, Craig Gainsborough, Cole Meyers, and Tweedie Waititi (moderated by Anita Brady). Green Party MP Elizabeth Kerekere will open the event, which will conclude with refreshments. This event is supported by VUW's Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and UNESCO City of Film.
