Michael’s teaching interests include accounting information systems, management accounting and sustainability accounting. After completing a FRST (Foundation for Research Science and Technology) funded PhD Michael has gone onto research and publish in the areas of sustainability accounting and organisational change.

Michael is a member of the Centre for Social and Environmental Accounting Research (CSEAR) and the Accounting and Finance Association of Australia and NZ.
