NZICA Life Membership - Adjunct Professor David Macdonald

Congratulations to Adjunct Professor David Macdonald on receiving a Life Membership at NZICA’s Wellington Presidential Dinner.

Congratulations to Adjunct Professor David Macdonald on receiving a Life Membership at NZICA’s Wellington Presidential Dinner.

One of only 12 Life Members, David joins other retired Professors, Don Trow and Athol Mann on that list. David is no stranger to awards, having been presented with a QSO in 2004 New Year’s Honours List, but, he believes Life Membership is more “personal” as it was awarded by his peers.

Terry McLaughlin, the CEO of NZICA, paid tribute to David’s strategic thinking and his well-timed advice, as well as his long-standing service on the Disciplinary Tribunal.

For 8 years our students were fortunate to learn from David’s experience as a partner at Deloitte and his 7 years as Controller and Auditor-General.
