Description

This event is postponed until further notice.

Playwright Dave Armstrong grew up in Wellington and attended, as well as performed in, many plays during the 1970s and 80s.

These were incredibly formative experiences for Dave and led to him becoming a playwright. Dave will talk about some of these experiences he had growing up in Wellington—from attending drama classes, playing the trumpet in a Brecht play while only 11, stage managing a Robert Lord play, to watching works by playwrights as diverse as Baxter, Buzo, Osborne and D.H. Lawrence.
