Description

After his election in 2019, the Hon. James Marape told the Papua New Guinea parliament that he wanted Papua New Guinea to be "the richest, black, Christian nation on planet Earth" within a decade. He promised to review outdated resource and mining legislation, not to be pushed around by foreign corporations and ensure services were provided for his people with a fair share of revenues. Hear how he sees the future direction for Papua New Guinea.

The Hon. Nanaia Mahuta, Minister for Maori Development and Local Government and Associate Trade Minister, will introduce Prime Minister Marape.
