The School of Engineering and Computer Science is running an international workshop on XR (AR/VR) Software Technologies.

Description

Join some amazing world class speakers who are pioneers of AR/VR world at the the International XR Workshop. Some of the speakers include:

  • Joaquim Jorge, University of Lisbon, Portugal
  • Karan Singh, University of Toronto, Canada
  • Gerard Jounghyun Kim, University of Korea, Korea
  • Mark Billinghurst, University of Auckland, New Zealand / University of South Australia, Australia.

Students will get an opportunity to do some coding and design for AR/VR headsets like the HTC Vive, MagicLeap, HoloLens, Occulus, and so on. Students will work in teams on a project for a couple of days, followed by presentations. We are also looking for people to attend beyond just coders such as UX Designers.
