Celebrating Italian Language Week 2020

Wai-te-ata Press in collaboration with the Istituto Italiano di Cultura in Sydney, Australia are celebrating the 20th anniversary of Italian Language Week (19-25 October 2020).

This year’s theme is Italian Between Word and Image: Graffiti, Illustrations, Comic Books.

An exhibition of work from 20 award-winning young comic artists, plus a zine reproducing the first cartoon in Italy and the first written example of the Italian language are on display at Wai-te-ata Press, Level 0, Kelburn Library.
