Dictionary use
Dictionary use in examinations is only permitted for students who do not have English as their first language. Complete a dictionary form at the Faculty Student Administration Office and have it signed there. Take the form and your dictionary to the examination where the supervisor will check it before the start.
Only foreign languages to English dictionaries are permitted. Electronic dictionaries are not permitted.
Sitting an examination out of time or place
It is possible to sit an examination at a different time or place only under exceptional circumstances. These are assessed on a case-by-case basis. An application form must be completed well in advance of the examination date. Independent supporting documentation must be provided in all cases. Application forms are available from the Faculty office.
