Tēnā koutou katoa,

Welcome to our School of Design!

We are thrilled that you've decided to start your path as a Designer with us, and we can't wait to share in your creative journey.

For many of you starting university will mean moving to our city Poneke/Wellington and beginning a new stage in your life. Here at the School of Design we will show you new skills, new ideas and encourage you to explore your own creativity while you adjust to life at university. Our role is to help you learn and support you on your journey towards your ambitions, whatever they may be.

Having been in your place once before I know that University can seem intimidating but once you start attending classes and completing projects our campus and courses will begin to feel like home.

Our staff and first year design lecturers are here to help you adjust to this new life and teach you to be a designer on the global stage while staying true to your values. If you have any questions simply reach out to me or the many friendly support staff, and we will guide you.

I look forward to seeing your many faces and getting to know you all through the incredible designs you will produce over the year.
