Perry Martin Hill Building Artefacts Archive
The P. Martin Hill Building Artefacts Archive is the result of the extensive collection of parts from New Zealand buildings, carried out by Martin Hill over half a century. It includes a wide range of artefacts such as doors, timber mouldings, toilet bowls and cisterns, wooden gutters, fireplace surrounds, balustrades and nails. Much of the collection has information locating the building which the parts were located from. The Building Artefacts Archive was moved from the Hill House in Tawa to its present location in the ground level archive room in 2008.
