Technical support
Workshop model-making technicians offer the following help:
- safety supervision of students' activities and machinery use
- technical information about construction, materials, and model-making
- technical support with 3D digital fabrication and CAD/CAM equipment
- some assistance with model-making projects, including some specialist or high-risk machining.
During busy times, technical assistance will be limited and prioritised on a needs basis. Assistance does not normally include training students or staff on CAD/CAM software associated with the digital fabrication equipment.
