Explore fashion, Virtual Reality, or Architecture with these fun summer holiday activities for High School students Years 11-13!

Are you a creative high school student? Join the Wellington Faculty of Architecture and Design Innovation's Career Discovery programme in January 2021.

You will get to try out what it is like to study at university, develop your professional skills, and explore your future as a creative practitioner. You can take part in Architecture, Virtual Reality (VR), and Fashion Design workshops.

The Wellington Faculty of Architecture and Design Innovation is offering an intensive and immersive summer programme. Each workshop lasts 5 days and includes:

  • hands-on creative making and designing
  • interactive demos
  • training with cutting-edge technology
  • studio experience
  • a field trip
  • guest lectures by industry professionals

By participating in the programme you get the chance to use great facilities, cutting-edge technology, and modern studios with the help of friendly university lecturers. The workshops are held at the Te Aro campus in the heart of Wellington, the vibrant arts capital.

These fun courses will give you an insight into the university experience. Selected work will be exhibited on the Future Designers website. Complete all three workshops or sign up for just one!

Date and time: 9 am to 5 pm daily. The workshop lasts 5 days.

Choose one from three different date options:

  • 11-15 January 2021
  • 18-22 January 2021
  • 26-30 January 2021 (includes the Saturday)

1 workshop $350, 2 workshops $320 each, 3 workshops $290 each, + one-time $50 Early Bird discount for sign-ups before November 15th 2020
