Open Day on Friday 20 August 2021 is the best opportunity to see all that the University has to offer and get a taste of university life.
Course planning day and hall tours
When: 9 am–2 pm, Saturday 21 August
Where: Rutherford House, Pipitea Campus
The course planning sessions will last 30–45 minutes based on degree subject area (e.g. Bachelor of Arts course planning session, Bachelor of Science course planning session etc.). You do not need to make an appointment to attend these sessions, and there will also be an expo in the public spaces in Rutherford House with student services.
Tours of our halls of residence will also be available from 10 am.

We’ll make getting around easy
Don’t worry if you’re not familiar with Wellington or the University. We’ll provide maps, directions, buses, and guides to make sure you can get around all the things you want to see.
There will be a free hop-on hop-off bus looping around campuses and some halls of residence.
Bring the family
Parents and whānau are more than welcome at all Open Day activities. They can also attend information sessions designed specifically for them.
Let us feed and entertain you
We’ll put on some free food to make sure you don’t go hungry. There will also be live entertainment throughout the day.
