I am a born and bred Wellingtonian. In early 2011, I moved to the sunny Bay of Plenty, where I lived for three years before returning to Wellington. I joined Student Counselling at Victoria in 2014.
For me, counselling at Vic is about helping students to come to terms with troubling times and discover a way forward. In my counselling sessions, I aim to create a safe space where students can feel accepted, understood, and supported.
I have a Bachelor of Counselling, a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration, and a Graduate Diploma of Arts in Psychology, and am a full member of the New Zealand Association of Counsellors.
