About Me

I’m an Italian-born Kiwi and grew up in Tāmaki Makaurau, Auckland, but I found my home in Te Whanganui-a-Tara, Wellington when I moved here in 2019 to study. I identify as queer and non-binary, and I am part of the neurodiverse community—my attention goes to many things! I have psychology degree from Te Herenga Waka and have previously work in mental health and peer-support roles. In my free time, you will find me re-watching Star Trek, adventuring with my camera, or reading a good book.

Our rainbow leaders in rainbow Te Herenga Waka t-shirts

Join us every Thursday at noon during teaching weeks in the Rainbow Room. We’re a social group for rainbow-identifying or questioning students, including people who don’t like using labels. Each week there’s a fresh activity or discussion topic to spark connections and foster a supportive community. The group is led by our rainbow student leaders Nick (they/them) and Monqtuya (they/them).
