At Victoria University of Wellington, we welcome students with families and understand the challenges of juggling family commitments with study.

Childcare services

Victoria Kids have two early childhood centres conveniently located on either end of the Kelburn campus. High-quality services are available for children from zero to five years, both part time and full time, with a range of different session times and fees to best suit your needs.

Breastfeeding and bottle feeding spaces

If you are looking for a quiet, private place to breastfeed or bottle feed, there are rest rooms available across campuses for feeding or downtime.

Students can get access to each of these spaces by collecting a key from a nearby staff member at the following locations:

Financial support and advice

Student finance advisors are available to meet with you on campus to provide confidential and non-judgemental financial advice, from working through your family budget to urgent financial support through the Hardship Fund.

Appointments are available on Kelburn and Pipitea campuses.
