Korfball

‘Korf’ means basket in Dutch. It is very similar to basketball and netball, with mixed genders. We aim to introduce this exciting sport to students.

How would you like to meet the friendly people at Vic Uni's newest social sports club.

Korfball is a mixed-gender non-contact sport and we welcome all skill levels.

We have an internationally qualified coach, Will Browne.

Originating in the Netherlands it is a hoop sport similar to Netball and Basketball.

The rules encourage fair and egalitatian team-play.

There are opportunities to excel and even represent New Zealand in International tournaments.
