Law students must have studied a full law programme at their home university for a minimum of two years. Please note that law courses in English are only offered at Masters level.

Students with background mainly in Business and Commerce have few options, unless they would like to study Anthropology or would focus on cross-discipline courses and Danish Culture courses designed especially for exchange students. Pre-semester Danish language course available. It is possible to take Danish courses during the semester as well - there are no tuition fees, however students need to purchase course material.

Course load

Full time load: 30 ECTS credits per semester.

1 ECTS = 2 VUW points.

As of Sept 2017 - majority of law courses will have the value of 15 ECTS and a few law courses will have the value of 7.5 ECTS.

Exchange restrictions

Courses in English within the Master degree programme Cognition and Communication offered by the Department of Media, Cognition and Communication are not available to exchange students.
