The School of Political Science and Economics runs courses in both English and Japanese. Exchange students from VUW can choose to study in either/both of these two streams for their exchange.

1 or 2 Trimesters
Japanese Language students: Full time students are expected to take 12 credits for one year.
Courses taught in English or Japanese.
Full time students are expected to take 16-28 credits for one year.
1 Wasedaa credit = 4 VUW points
Exchange at Waseda is restricted to the School of International Liberal Studies and the Faculty of Political Science and Economics. Students should have studied at least one semester of Japanese language before attending Waseda University.
