CSS hosts discussion on 'Strategic Asia: US-China Competition for Global Influence' with experts from NBR

ManjeetOn 9 March 2020, Dr Manjeet S. Pardesi, CSS Acting Director, hosted a Panel Discussion with three experts from the National Bureau of Asian Research (NBR), a leading US research institution, based in Washington D.C. and Seattle. The Panel discussed a range of issues, including regional geopolitics and international relations amid growing U.S.-China strategic competition; how countries in Asia are coping with the consequences of the great power rivalry; and its implications for the region. The NBR Panelists were, Michael Wills, Executive Vice President, NBR; Alison Szalwinski, Vice President of Research, NBR; Ann Marie Murphy, Professor, Seton Hall University; with Moderator, Manjeet S. Pardesi, Acting Director, Centre for Strategic Studies, NZ.
