Bruce Ross

Bruce Ross was appointed Director-General of Agriculture in 1996, from where he was appointed Director-General of Agriculture and Forestry, a position he held until 2001. With a background in agricultural economics, Bruce was an academic at Lincoln University spending time at the OECD in Paris and as a visiting Professor in England.

He is currently Chair of the NZ Dairy Core Database Access Panel, a trustee of the Kia Ora Foundation and a member of the National Animal Welfare Advisory Committee.
